Disciplinary proceedings North Korea style

It’s every employer’s nightmare, disciplining an employee and sitting nervously waiting for the fishing trip masked as an employment tribunal. Looks like North Korea have a method of avoiding these risks as Uncle Chang Song-thaek found out. Even on my scale it probably ranks as a wee bit extreme but it got me thinking: –

Is there a happy medium whereby disciplinary proceedings can take place in a balanced manner?

What are your experiences of disciplining staff?

Have you been disciplined, and how did you feel?

Why we joined Trustpilot

Remember the heady days of the property boom? “Location, location, location” was what we repeatedly heard. With the internet it’s all about “trust” – so that translates into “trust, trust, trust”. In our specialist field of limited company registration this is more important than ever. Registering a limited company is a major move for many people and they’ll only do it once so they to know they are using somebody who knows what they are talking about.

Stop and look at your own business – there’s always a way to apply it to yourself.

Amazon reveals a drone as TNT unleashes a fleet of posties on bikes

Round here we’re been treated to the spectacle of shiny orange bikes under the control of riders in smart new ornage-ish uniforms. They wobble their way through the streets heavily laden with items of business post all day long and even after dark . In the meantime the Royal Mail are delivering in wee Postman-Pat style French built vans crewed by not 1 but 2 posties.

From one end of the tech spectrum to the other , one thing is clear – the consumer is benefitting as one of the last monopolies and examples of state inefficiency and union tyranny slowly crumbles .
