The FD History
Formations Direct was created in 1994 to provide a reasonably priced company formation service to the accountancy and legal profession that is backed up by high quality advice and technical support. From humble beginnings the company is proud to be servicing the needs of thousands of firms throughout the UK and beyond. Since then the Formations Direct brand has developed, and the range of services on offer to accountancy and legal practices as well as SMEs has grown to include company searches and credit checks, company restoration, secretarial software, secretarial services, client ID verification and money laundering compliance, accountancy practice brokerage and general business brokerage.

At FD the emphasis is firmly on providing customers with a service that is up to date and accurate at a cost that is fair and reasonable, allowing for value added input by the professional adviser and ensuring that businesses are not overpaying. We believe that each customer, no matter how large or small is entitled to personal service. At FD we work on a team basis, and although different departments work on specific topics, staff members are trained in multiple disciplines so that your requests will usually find somebody who has been trained to deal with it the first time you call.
