France and Germany would have totally ignored the ECJ ruling on Abu Qatada and bought him a one way ticket to Amman .  But of course the British play by the rules because that’s what we do isn’t it ? It’s about time the country that invented cricket and the Queensbury rules learned that the world has moved on and the boundaries of fair play have shifted somewhat. We all know that whatever Jordan scribbles on a piece of paper is worthless but who cares outside the judicial chamber of the ECJ – perhaps they are looking at substance over form ?
