So we are finding out where the axe will fall. It is good to see that there are few, if any, sacred cows and that the effects of the cuts will be felt more or else everywhere. Who do I say that it is good? Simple. The government cuts are a lesson for all businesses. You have to think radically and challenge convention when drastic measures are called for. Mr Cameron and Mr Osborne have to be applauded for facing up to the hard decisions in a timely fashion. Tough love? It’s certainly tough but there’s not much love lost between the politicians and the electorate.
