How to set up a UK limited company
Step 1
Decide whether you want a ready made company (off the shelf) or one with a name chosen by you.
A ready made company is already registered at Companies House and we will transfer it to you instantly. Should you wish to change the name of a ready made company this will require a formal application to Companies House which will incur a statutory fee - you may need to use a professional to assist you.
An own name company needs to be submitted to Companies House for registration, which usually takes a day or two longer, and you cannot use the company until it has been registered.
Most purchasers opt for an own name company. If you want an own name company but need it as soon as possible, we offer an Xpress service for an extra fee, which is normally performed within a few hours.
